And drums which was his chosen instrument |
Not sure he was having a good time here |
June at another music camp, Wahanowin near Casino Rama. June Now, Kayla always has a good time at these gigs |
July, and another. Kayla is very gung ho about just about everything, |
Musically or otherwise |
This one at Mono Cliffs, |
Summer music camp out past Orangeville |
Just in case you wondered where I'd been Probably working on my retirement Sunday, 5th September, summer is over |
I started this playcentre the year Kayla was born
Richard & I dug the "foundations" |
And I've added to it over the years
And no one ever hurt themselves, kids or adults |
Mid September, the usual suspects |
At the cottage, Udora |
Another birthday cake. Spot the fire hazard |
Another birthday party, on the deck |
And more usual suspects |
This near Margaret's and Katherines Kayla's horse lady where she got royally trodden on by a horse. Her knee has never fully recovered |
I, or rather one of the companies invest in a podium for the Toronto Debating Society
I'm still the big shot, but try to off load a lot of direction onto the members now
We welcomed everyone, still |
I had set up the events to include |
As many participants as possible |
I think there was a maximum of 17 |
If every spot was taken |
Some of the best parts were |
At the bar after Totally some of my best times were due to the club |
Looks like the kitchen, here, a Halloween party I guess. October 30th |
And another cake, this time Aiden's |

More of Kayla's: Samantha at a gathering later in November |
Aiden having some kind of a time |
Patty and Roy's wedding |
December 5th |
I guess some people like this sort of thing |
With grand daughter cc |
December 8th, family time
As I remember, some people were close to enjoying themselves here |
Trying again Practicing for happy families pix of the year on the 10th |
December 11th to 18th, Quebec, Ste Annes again It's quite a cheap (as in poorly built) timeshare, but there's always one available this side of Christmas |
In the mighty cruiser We arrived after a long trip from Humberside to Cornwall after the band show I was a total wreck arriving in Cornwall around 3AM. It was far far longer than I'd imagined |
Prior to Christmas is often a gamble |
But there was lots of snow, |
And of course, it was bloody cold (like in Quebec! Duh!) In Ontario, they shut down the lifts around 15 below Here, still running in minus 30 |
Lots of lovely green runs for me
And through the woods |
Far too dangerous for this old fart |
But I have a great time |
And Kayla, as ever, teaches a new recruit, Kate |
I assume that I was cameraman this day |
Prime conditions |
Ah! Memories |
And really lots of fun |
Even for me |
Yep, certainly lots of snow, and great views from the top |
Well, neither of these guys were exactly MasterChef's Nor me, but mine was edible |
And the real thing, for some reason on December 29th |
